This listing is for one complete Kid Friendly rug hooking kit of our original design, SAIL AWAY. This kit was specific designed with kids in mind! It is small in size, measuring 6 x 6.5 inches, and features a simplified drawing that is perfect for kids (or adults) aged 7 and up. 

Each kit comes with:

– one hand drawn pattern on monks cloth (with, at least, a 4 inch border)

– one wooden rug hook

– rug binding

– enough hand dyed wool strips to finish the project. Colors include: aqua, purples, whites, and more!

– one color photo, color key, and instructions on how to complete the rug

A rug of this size can be completed using a quilting hoop (roughly 8 to 10 inches).

Rug hooking is an easy and relaxing craft that uses 100% wool fabric strips that are woven through a fabric foundation. Each kit includes written instructions and also a link to our series of videos that explain rug hooking techniques and other useful information.
